Healthcare and education are 100% free of charge, as envisioned by our founder, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. There is no billing counter at the hospital.
Funded by Donations
The hospital is funded by unsolicited donations only. A corpus fund has been built, and continues to grow, to sustain the services.
Research and CSR Support

How Spending Is Decided
Collective Decision-Making
Decisions are taken collectively, which ensures transparency and eliminates bias. The committees involved are:
- Internal Purchase Committee: a cross-functional team at SSSIHMS Whitefield
- Common Purchase Committee: includes the sister units
- Hospital Executive Committee: clinical heads and Trustees
- Board of Trustees
Due Diligence
- Monthly review of all expenses
- Expenses correlated with output, for timely course correction
