Profile

Senior Consultant Cardiologist at the Institute from 2008 to 2018, and Honorary Senior Consultant since 2018. MD (summa cum laude), University of Louisville; BS, Stanford University; residency in internal medicine at Duke University Medical Center; cardiology fellowship at Emory University School of Medicine, where he was Chief Fellow. Staff cardiologist and staff radiologist (dual appointment) at Cleveland Clinic, 2005–2008, and Assistant Professor of Medicine, Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine. Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine (Cardiology). His work centres on cardiovascular imaging (echocardiography, cardiac CT and MRI), with 45 peer-reviewed publications. He founded EchoSai.org for online echocardiography education and served on the executive committees of the Indian Academy of Echocardiography and the Indian Association for Cardiovascular Imaging (2016–2018). Since 2025 he has been a co-investigator on a GE HealthCare project developing an AI tool to quantify epicardial and pericoronary fat on CT coronary angiography.
