We are told about Lord Krishna’s episodes — how he could lift up a big mountain and all that. Now we are seeing him in our own presence, doing so many things. All the same, he is down to earth also, and he knows what we really require, what our needs are — which is vidya, vaidya and water. These are the three things on which he concentrates.

Bhagawan, how can the people of Bangalore thank you? How can we be grateful to you for the blessing you have given to the people that live in Bangalore?
If only gods can react the way Bhagawan Sathya Sai Baba has reacted — to hunger, to thirst, to disease, to illiteracy — how blessed the country would be, how blessed society would be.

Before I begin, I would like to apologise for the long delay in my arrival here. I had to attend two other functions this morning; they went on longer than expected. I would like to thank you all for waiting so long and so patiently. I know you have been waiting for Baba, not for me. ▶ 0:55
I am honoured by Bhagawan Sathya Sai Baba's decision to invite me to inaugurate this magnificent temple of healing that he has built in the capital of Karnataka. I have visited this temple — his temple of learning at Prasanthi Nilayam — several times. I have also seen his Super Speciality Hospital at Puttaparthi. I had then remarked to myself that the people of Andhra Pradesh were lucky to have such a magnificent hospital. I am glad that neighbouring Karnataka, too, can now share in the spiritual and physical well-being that Bhagawan generates. ▶ 2:08
Friends, I have seen many hospitals in India and abroad. In some of them I have also been a patient, as was the case most recently at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai. However, I can honestly say that I have rarely seen a hospital so magnificent, so grand and so breathtakingly beautiful as this one. When I first saw the photographs of this institution, I told myself that this cannot be a hospital; rather, it looked like a palace — but a palace with a difference, a palace of healing that is equally accessible to the poor as it is to the rich. I use the word ‘palace’ deliberately, for Baba’s is truly an empire of the soul — an empire that knows no national boundaries and no divisions of caste, creed or colour. ▶ 3:05
From what I know of the meticulous care with which Bhagawan runs every institution of his — and he runs an incredibly large number of them — I am confident that the insides of this hospital will more than match its outsides. As always, he has assembled a team of the best doctors and staff. Again, as always, many of them are voluntarily offering their services to Baba and to the people. The high-domed prayer and meditation hall in the centre of the building alone makes this place a unique combination of temple and hospital. It will surely generate tranquillity and hope in patients’ minds, sanctified by divinity. It will encourage the curing of diseases not merely of the body, but of the mind and the spirit as well. ▶ 4:27
Friends, to me what makes this hospital unique is the largely free services by which the poor, too, may get the same [unclear] health care as the rich do. There are many private hospitals in our country, in big cities, whose doors are closed even to the middle class. The rich, too, will be a good deal poorer [unclear] when they take treatment from these hospitals. By setting up this hospital, Baba has shown that just as the doors of a temple do not recognise the feet of the rich or the poor, so too should a good hospital offer its services to all those who need them. ▶ 5:31
Baba’s ideal, which is also my ideal, is best expressed in a Sanskrit shloka: “Na tvaham kāmaye rājyam, na svargam na punarbhavam; kāmaye duḥkha-taptānām prāṇinām ārti-nāśanam.” It means: I long for neither state power, nor for heaven, nor for reincarnation; my only desire is to see that the sufferings of all living beings are removed. ▶ 6:14
Friends, the present health care system in our country is a far cry from this ideal. India still has only about five hospital beds per 1,000 population. We also have only six or seven physicians per 1,000 population. As a result, a majority of our population is still served by practitioners of traditional medicine, or by those who are not adequately trained. Nearly seven lakh children die every year due to diarrhoea, which is easily preventable. More than half of pregnant and lactating women are anaemic. No wonder, for the poor, health care accounts for one of the largest chunks of their meagre family budget. ▶ 6:46
It is now obvious that the government’s resources alone cannot suffice to meet the health care needs of our growing population. We have to think and act in alternative and innovative ways to achieve our objective of Health for All. We need to radically [unclear] the government-run health care system to make it more effective and efficient. We need to create greater linkages between public and private health care systems. The government would like to encourage more private-sector investment in secondary and tertiary health care. At the same time, I would like to see private practitioners and private hospitals carry a significant share of the burden of public health care. ▶ 7:39
But whether a hospital is in the private sector or in the government sector, it can promote the public good only if the people working in it are guided by the overriding principle of seva. And this is where we can all learn from the institutions of Baba. He attracts the most qualified and competent professionals to work in his colleges and hospitals. But what impresses us is not only their qualifications and expertise; it is also the humble, self-effacing and devoted service that they render to one and all. We need this combination of professional excellence and service orientation in all walks of our national life — in health care as well as education, in industry as well as administration. ▶ 8:33
The task of providing quality health care to one billion people is by no means an easy one. It cannot be met by over-dependence on the curative approach, which is neither affordable nor accessible to many of our citizens. Even rich nations are finding it difficult to sustain their expensive health care systems. It is therefore necessary for India to promote preventive and community-based health care. As is well known, prevention is always better than cure. Unfortunately, preventive medicine in our country has so far been largely neglected. In the case of some diseases, like HIV/AIDS, prevention through awareness is the only medicine. We also need sustained campaigns aimed at educating the people about the basics of healthy living — a good diet and exercise, to start with. We should promote [unclear] in public places in a big way. ▶ 9:32
One of the many things that impresses me about Baba’s institutions is how spotlessly clean every nook and corner is, although thousands of people visit them every day. Here, too, we can learn from Baba and his devotees. To make effective and affordable health care widely available, we also need to give greater encouragement to Ayurveda, yoga, other Indian systems of medicine and homoeopathy. Unfortunately, these indigenous systems have not yet found their rightful place in our overall health care strategy. Our government has been doing much to correct this imbalance. I agree, however, that we need to do much more. ▶ 10:38
Before concluding, I join all of you in wishing this Institute the very best. May all its future plans come through, and may it quickly become a sacred symbol of Baba’s generosity to the people of this country. ▶ 11:26
मैं दो शब्द हिंदी में भी कहना चाहूँगा। हम दवा के लिए अस्पताल में जाते हैं। लेकिन जब मर्ज़ बहुत बिगड़ जाता है, डॉक्टर हथियार डाल देते हैं, आशा निराशा में बदल जाती है, तब फिर दवा काम नहीं आती — दुआ काम आती है। ये ऐसा अस्पताल है, अनूठा अस्पताल है, जहाँ दवा भी है और दुआ भी है। जहाँ वेणुगोपाल जैसे डॉक्टर भी हैं और बाबा जैसे संत, महात्मा, भगवान भी हैं, जो आशीर्वाद से लोगों के ज़ख़्मों पर मरहम रख सकते हैं। बहुत-बहुत धन्यवाद। ▶ 11:46
In English: Let me say a few words in Hindi as well. We go to a hospital for medicine (dawa). But when an illness becomes very grave, the doctors lay down their arms and hope turns into despair; then medicine no longer works — prayer (dua) works. This is such a hospital, a unique hospital, where there is both dawa and dua; where there are doctors like Venugopal, and also a saint, a Mahatma, a Bhagawan like Baba, who by his blessings can apply balm to people’s wounds. Thank you very much.

ఖండ ఖండాంతర ఖ్యాతి నార్జించిన మహనీయులను గన్న మాతృభూమి
పాశ్చాత్య వీరుల పారద్రోలియు స్వాతంత్ర్యమును గన్న సమరభూమి
పాండిత్యమున చాల ప్రఖ్యాతి గాంచిన ప్రతిభ చూపిన భరతభూమి
సంగీత సాహిత్య శాస్త్రీయ విద్యలందు ధీశక్తి చూపిన దివ్యభూమి

This is the sacred land that has given birth to saints and seers and sages. This is the country that has driven out the foreign rulers. This is country that has shown excellence in scholarship, wisdom and knowledge. It is the country which is outstanding in music, science and literature, the fine arts. Having been born in this country, it is a sacred duty everyone to uphold the dharma of Bharat.
దివ్యాత్మ స్వరూపులారా!
Embodiments of divine atma!
ప్రాచీన కాలం నుండి భారతదేశీయులైనటువంటి మహనీయులు, యోగులు, మేధావులు ఆరోగ్యం నిమిత్తమై అనేక విధములైనటువంటి పరిశోధనలు చేస్తూ వచ్చారు.
Since ancient times in Bharat, noble souls, spiritual seekers have made investigation in depth regarding the health.
జీవితంలో ఆరోగ్యమే మహాభాగ్యము.
In life, the health is wealth.
కనుకనే ఆరోగ్యమును కాపాడి, ఆనందమును పెంచుకొని దేశమునకు శాంతి స్పందతను అందించాలనే ఉద్దేశంతో అనేకమంది ఋషులు కూడాను దీనికి తోడ్పడుతూ వచ్చారు.
The sages also thought this way. By ensuring health to entire humanity, the safety and the peace and security could be guaranteed.
ముఖ్యముగా మానవునకు అలోపతి అనగా ఇంగ్లీషు వైద్యము చాలా అవసరమని భావించారు.
It is felt that allopathy is most needed.
కానీ కేవలం అలోపతి అనేటువంటి మాత్రమే కాకుండా ఆయుర్వేదం అనేటువంటి కూడాను అత్యవసరమని విశ్వసించారు.
They also believed that along with allopathy ayurvedic science is equally important.
అయితే ఈ అలోపతి అనేటువంటిది తాత్కాలికమైనటువంటి రోగముల నివారణ కావిస్తూ వచ్చిందే కానీ శాశ్వతమైనటువంటి విమోచన చేయటం లేదు.
Allopathy gives you a temporary relief but not a permanent cure.
కనుకనే ఆయుర్వేదం అనేటువంటిది శాశ్వతమైనటువంటి నివారణ కావిస్తూ దేశమునకు ఎంతయో చరిత్రను సృష్టిస్తూ వచ్చింది.
In fact, it's ayurvedic science that conferred the permanent relief and cure.
మన దేహములో చాలా ప్రధానమైనటువంటిది గుండె.
In our body, the heart is most important.
గుండె సమ్మె చేస్తే అంతా జీవితమే వ్యర్థమైపోతుంది.
If the heart goes on strike, the whole life would be wasted.
ఈ గుండె చేసేటువంటి పని ఏమిటి?
What is the job of the heart?
దేహములో సర్వత్రా ఉండినటువంటి రక్తమును ఒకదో చేర్చి దానిని ఊపిరితిత్తులకు పంపుకొట్టి అక్కడ దానిని పరిశుద్ధపరచి దాన్ని తిరిగి సర్వత్రా ఈ రక్తమును ప్రసరింపజేస్తూ వచ్చింది.
The job of the heart is to purify the blood in support of the lungs and supply the pure blood all over the body.
ఇలాంటి పని మాత్రమే కాకుండా ఆ గుండెకు కొన్ని విధములైనటువంటి యొక్క శక్తి సామర్థ్యములు ఉంటున్నాయి.
In addition to this, heart has got special capacities.
అది ఊపిరితిత్తులకు పంపు కొట్టినప్పుడు ఆ ఒక్క తూరి పంపు కొడితే ఆ రక్తమంతకుడును పన్నెండు వేల మైళ్ళ దూరము ప్రయాణం చేస్తుంది.
As it beats once through having been purified there in lungs, the heart would be able to supply blood to a distance of twelve thousand miles.
ఈ పన్నెండు వేల మైళ్ళ దూరము ఈ రక్తమును ప్రసరింపజేసేటువంటి శక్తి ఏది?
What is that behind this power of supplying the blood to twelve thousand miles distance?
సైంటిస్టా? కాదు.
Is it the scientist? No.
ఇంజనీసా? కాదు.
Is he an engineer? No.
యోగులా? కాదు.
Or yogi, spiritual seeker?
యంత్రమా? కాదు. Machine తంత్రమా? కాదు.
Or any device
అన్నింటికినీ భగవత్ శక్తియే దీనికి ఆధారము.
It's only the divine power that is responsible for the circulation of pure blood all over the body.
భగవత్ సంకల్పమే లేకుండినా ఏ చిన్న కార్యమును కూడాను మానవుడు చేయలేడు.
Without the assistance of divine power, not even a simple task could be achieved by man.
ఈనాటి మానవుడు కేవలం దైవశక్తి పైన, ఆత్మవిశ్వాసం పైన మనసును కోల్పోతున్నాడు.
Man today has lost confidence in God and he has lost his self confidence too.
అందువల్లనే ఈనాడు ఎన్ని విధమైనటువంటి అలోపతి మందులు అభివృద్ధి అయినప్పటికినీ రోగములు కూడాను దానితోపాటు అభివృద్ధి అవుతూ వస్తున్నాయి.
It is for that reason though allopathy has been progressing from time to time, diseases also have been increasing.
దీనివల్ల కలిగినటువంటి ఫలితం ఏమిటి?
What is the result of this?
కనుక ప్రతి మానవుడు కూడను ఆత్మవిశ్వాసమును అభివృద్ధి పరుచుకోవాలి
Therefore everyone has to foster the self confidence
ఈ ఆత్మవిశ్వాసమే అన్నింటికిని మూల కారణము
The self confidence is the prime cause
అట్టి ఆత్మవిశ్వాసమే లేకుండినా మానవత్వమే వ్యర్థము
Without confidence in the self human life is a waste
ఈ అల్లోపతి అనేటువంటి దాంట్లో కూడను చాలా కొన్ని క్రిములు కొంత ఉంటున్నాయి
In allopathy also there are certain devices
అవి కొంతకాలం మాత్రమే క్షీణిస్తాయి తరువాత మరి అభివృద్ధి అవుతూ వస్తుంటాయి
They function for some-for sometime only thereafter the disease increases
కనుక ఆయుర్వేదం అనేటువంటి దానిని మహా చరిత్రగా భావిస్తూ వచ్చాడు ఒక వ్యక్తి
Therefore a person considered Ayurveda as the greatest one
జర్మనీ దేశం లోపల మెస్సన్ అనేటువంటి పట్టణం లోపల పుట్టినటువంటి వ్యక్తి
A person born in Meissen, in Germany
సామ్యూల్ హానాం మాన్ అనగా ఒక వ్యక్తి పేరు అది
It is the name of a person who was born there in Germany
సామ్యూల్ సామ్యూల్ హాయ హానీ హానీ మాన్ మాన్ అతనే దీని యొక్క శక్తిని స-సంపాదించినటువంటి వాడు
He was the one who acquired this power
ఇతను భారతీయ సంస్కృతి అయినటువంటి సమస్త లోకః సుఖినో భవంతు అనేటువంటి ఆ దీనిని ఆధారం చేసుకొని
Basing on the dictum of Bharat that the whole world should live in peace and prosperity
సమస్త లోకః సుఖినో భవంతు అదియే అతని లక్ష్యము
He also kept in view the happiness of the entire world
ఈ లక్ష్యం చేతనే తాను గొప్ప శాశ్వతమైనటువంటి దానిని సాధిస్తూ వచ్చాడు
With this chief aim he could achieve everything
కానీ ఈనాటి భా-మానవుడు ఈ విధమైనటువంటి యొక్క లోకాభివృద్ధి నిమిత్తమై, లోక సంక్షేమ నిమిత్తమై ఏ మాత్రము పాటు పడటం లేదు
But man today is in no way working for the welfare and the progress of the world in general by and large
ఈనాటి heart జబ్బులు అధికమవుతూ వస్తున్నాయి
The heart diseases are increasing day by day
ప్రశాంత నిలయంలో super specialty hospital కట్టి అక్కడ heart operations చేస్తూ వచ్చారు
The heart surgery department is there in Prasanthi Nilayam.
ప్రశాంత నిలయం ఈనాటికి పదివేల ఆరు వందల operations జరిగినాయి
This day you can say that ten thousand six hundred operations have been conducted so far
ఎంత మంది బీదో ఆనందిస్తూ వస్తున్నారు
And many many poor people are suffering because of our diseases
ఇక్కడ ఏ doctor ని చూచా-పోవాలపటికినీ డబ్బు చాలా అవసరము
If you want to consult any doctor money is necessary
బీదల గతి ఏమిటి అనేటువంటిది ఎవరు యోచించటం లేదు
No one is bothered of the fate of the poor people
కనుకనే ఈ బీదల గతి ఏమిటి?
What will happen to them?
ఈ బీదలను సంరక్షించి బీదల యొక్క రోగములను నివారణ కావించి దేశానికి తగినటువంటి ఒక కర్మమార్గమును అభివృద్ధి పరచాలి
Therefore the poor people have got to be taken care of. They have to be protected and who had set an ideal in this entire nation
కనుకనే బీద ప్రజలను కాపాడేటువంటి యొక్క సేవనే నిజమైన సేవ
It is really a true service if it is rendered to the poor and the lowly
కనుకనే ఈ బీద ప్రజలను చూచేటువంటి మా నాయకుడు లేడు
We don't have any leader who will take care of the poor people
ప్రభుత్వం కూడను చూట్టం లేదు
Even the world is not bothered
Doctor ని చూస్తామంటే అసలే ముట్టటం లేదు
In fact no one is thinking of them Doctor
ఒక పది కోట్లు పెట్టి ఏదైనా ఒక ఆసుపత్రి కట్టాలంటే నూరు కోటికి expect చేస్తుంటాడు
If a hospital is constructed at the cost of ten crores they expect the profit of hundred crores
Doctors కు దయ, దాక్షిణ్యమే లేదు
Doctors have no kindness and compassion
కనుకనే ఈ బీదల గతి చాలా కష్ట స్థితికి వచ్చింది
Therefore poor people are suffering a lot
ఇప్పుడు మూడు దినముల నుంచి, నాలుగు దినముల నుంచి ఇక్కడ operations జరుగుతున్నాయి
Heart operations have been going on for the last three or four days
ఎలాంటి బీదవాళ్ళు, ఒకరు
carpenter One is a carpenter
ఒకడు ధోబీ
One is a dhobi
ఇలాంటి వారంతా కూడను వచ్చి ఈ hospital లో చేరి వాళ్ళ కష్టములకు పరిహారం కావించుకుంటున్నారు
Such poor people have been coming to this hospital and seeking relief
యాభై మందికి operations జరిగినాయి
Fifty operations have been conducted so far
వాళ్ళ ముఖాలు చూస్తే ఎంతనో ఆనందం వేస్తుంది
They are extremely happy
ఆనందం ఇవ్వనటువంటి యొక్క వైద్యం ప్రయోజనం ఏమిటి?
And if we cannot make people happy what for is medicine
ఆనందము, ఆరోగ్యము ఇవ్వనటువంటి వైద్యం ప్రయోజనం ఏమిటి?
In fact if medicine cannot confer you happiness and bliss what for
గొప్ప గొప్ప విద్యావంతులు అయిపోయినప్పటికీనీ
You may be highly educated
బీదల యొక్క స్థితికి ఏ మాత్రము పట్టించుకోవటం లేదు
Yet you are not bothered of the poor people
కనుకనే ఈనాడు ఈ ఆసుపత్రి సర్వం కూడను బీదల కోసమనే చేస్తున్నాం
Therefore this hospital is meant for all poor people
బీదల పేర్లను సంతోష పెట్టినప్పుడే నాకు సంతోషం
Bhagawan will be extremely happy if the poor people are served here
నా జీవితమంతా కూడను బీదల కోసం దారబోస్తున్నాను
In fact Bhagawan has dedicated his entire life for the poor and the lowly
ఈనాడు ఈ బెంగుళూరులో ప్ర-ప్రయత్నం చేసినటువంటి యొక్క
hospital heart transplant, lungs transplant
ఇవన్నీ చేస్తారు
Heart transplant and lungs transplants are going to be taken up
ఈ బీదలకంతా శాశ్వతమైనటువంటి ఒక ఆనందాన్ని అందించాలి
And the poor people must be given a permanent cure and relief
గుండె ఉంటేనే దానికి తగినటువంటి ధైర్యం వస్తుంది
If you got a good heart you will be courageous enough
ఆరోగ్యం చెడిపోయిన తర్వాత ఏమీ ఉండి ప్రయోజనం లేదు
If you are not healthy it — life is useless
ఎంత ధనవంతునికైనా, ఎంత గుణవంతునికైనా heart లేకపోతే ప్రయోజనం లేదు
You may be a rich man, you may be virtuous, if the heart is defective it is useless
కనుకనే పూర్వం గతించినటువంటి పటేల్ ఇక్కడ దీనికి ఎంతనో సహాయం చేశాడు
The former Chief Minister Patel has helped for this a lot
ఇప్పుడు present గా ఉండినటువంటి యొక్క Krishna ను కూడాను మాకు ఎంతో సహాయం చేస్తున్నాడు
The present Chief Minister of Karnataka is helping us a lot
క-కర్ణాటక యొక్క ప్రజలు ఎంతనో దీనికి పాటు పడుతున్నారు
People of Karnataka also are associating with this
కనుక ఈ కర్ణాటక ప్రజలకంత కూడాను తగినటువంటి ఆనందాన్ని అందించాలని మా దీక్ష
Bhagawan has determined to make the people of Karnataka extremely happy

Money, how, where do you get it?
ఇక్కడ బీదవారు కోటీశ్వరుడు అని భేదం లేదు
We don't have any differences like a poor man, a rich man
ఎవరికైనా సరే ఇక్కడ
free free free Let him be anyone
నయా పసా ఖర్చు లేదు
No charge
ఇంతే కాదు
Not only this
మీరికి free భోజనం
You will be supplied with free food
ఏ విధమైనటువంటి యొక్క ఇబ్బందులు లేకుండా వారిని సుఖంగా ఇంటికి చేర్చడమే మా యొక్క లక్ష్యము
It is the aim to send you home safe and secure, healthy
ఇది శాశ్వతంగా జరిగేటువంటి యొక్క సమస్త
And this is a permanent one
నేడు రేపు అని భావిస్తారు కొంతమంది
Some may consider as the one of today, tomorrow
కాదు కాదు
No Sai
వేసినటువంటి యొక్క సమస్త శాశ్వతమైనటువంటిది
Institution started by Sai will remain eternal, permanent
మొన్న Gulbarga నుంచి వచ్చినాడు ఒక చాకలి మనిషి
The other day, a washerman came from Gulbarga
అతన్ని చూస్తే, "స్వామి! మా పాది దైవమా! మా యొక్క నివారణ కలిగింది. మాకు గుండె operation జరిగింది" అని ఎంతో ఆనందించాడు
The washerman from Gulbarga said, "You are God. We are operated upon. We are very happy" that's what he said Heart operation
అంటే డబ్బు కావాలి
For heart surgery you need money
కేవలం entrance fees కూడాను ఒక ఐదు వేలు కావాలి
Even for admission you need five thousand
ఐదు దమ్మిడీలు కూడాను లేదు వాని దగ్గర పాపం
In fact, that washerman is not in possession of five hundred
ఎంతమంది ధనవంతులు లేరు ఈ జగత్తులో
There are many rich people in this world
ఎంతమంది దీనికి తగినటువంటి ఒక శ్రీమంతులు లేరు
There are many many rich people all over the world
ఎవరికైనా ఈ దయాదాక్షిణ్యం అనేటువంటిది బయలుదేరుతుందా?
Do you find in them any trace of kindness and compassion?
చెప్పవచ్చు మాటి, చెయ్యరు ఒకటి
They may say thousand things but they don't practice even one Sai
చేసినటువంటి యొక్క పనుల్లోపల వెయ్యింటి ఒక భాగమైనా ఏ శ్రీమంతుడైనా చేస్తున్నాడా?
Out of all that Sai has been doing till this day, do you find any rich man doing one thousandth of what Sai is doing?
కోట్లకు ఖర్చు పెట్టి నీరంతా కూడాను పల్లెలకు అందిస్తున్నాము
Spending crores and crores of money, water is supplied to everybody crores
ఖర్చు పెట్టి విద్య అభ్యసిస్తున్నాము
Crores of money spent for education
ఈ crores ఖర్చు పెట్టి ఈ యొక్క ఆరోగ్యాన్ని కూడాను అభివృద్ధి పరుస్తున్నాము
Crores of money are spent for health
చాలామంది నోటికి ఎముక లేదు, నాలుక్కు ఎముక లేదు, ఏ విధంగానైనా మాట్లాడవచ్చును
The tongue has no bone, so you can twist it in any way you like
ఆ మాట్లాడేటువంటి వ్యక్తి ఒకడు వచ్చి ఒక బీద వానికి ఇంత కడుపునిండుకు అన్నం పెట్టమని చూద్దాం
The one who talks in way in the gossip, would he come here and say anything that he is prepared to do?
ఏ శ్రీమంతుడి ఇంటికి భిక్షగాడు వెళ్ళినప్పుడును కుక్కనైనా ఎగిరిచి వాడిని తరం కొడతాడు
When a beggar is at the doorstep of a rich man, he would ask his pet dog to pounce upon him
కనుక ఈనాడు అన్ని రంగములో కూడాను ధనము ధనము ధనము ధనము
For everything in life we stand by money money
విద్యాభ్యాసంలో ధనము Education సంగీతంలో ధనము Music సాహిత్యంలో ధనము Literature ఇంకా అన్ని రకములైన ఈ యొక్క రోగములకు నివారణ కూడాను మందుల యందు కూడాను ధనము
Even for cure of the diseases we need money money
ఈ వైద్యరంగం కూడాను money లో ప్రవేశించింది
And this money has stepped into the field of health
ప్రేమ స్వరూపులారా! ఈ doctors ఎంతమంది ఉండేప్పటికిని వాళ్ళ మనసును మార్చుకొని సదా హృదయులైపోయి సత్సేవలు చేస్తూ రావాలి
Doctors should have a compassionate heart. They should have all kindness and be prepared to serve
ఈ కఠినత్వం అనేటువంటిది దూరం చేయండి
And give up all that narrow mindedness
ధనము ధనము ధనము. ధనము నీవు పోయేటప్పుడు కట్టుకొని పోతున్నావా?
After all money you may have, are you going to take it with you after life?
ఎంత ధనమును సంపాదించినా కానీ అది నీ వెంట రాదు
You may have a lot of money, it will not follow you
కేవలము ప్రేమ చేతనే సేవ చేయండి
With all love serve the community
బీదలకు ముఖ్యంగా సేవ చేయాలి
Serve the poor
ఆ బీదల సేవనే మిమ్మల్ని సంరక్షించేది
And in fact service to the poor people will protect you in the long run
రామసేవ అని కాదు, బీదల సేవనే రామసేవ
And then serving the poor people is service to Rama, Lord
కనుకనే బీదల సేవ చేయండి
Serve the poor
ఈ బీదల నిమిత్తమై మీ ప్రాణాన్ని అంకితం చేయండి
Be ready to sacrifice your life in service to poor
నాకు వేరొక ఆశనే లేదు
Nothing but seva
నాకు ఈ బీదల సేవనే ప్రధానమైన లక్ష్యము
Bhagawan considers service to poor people as the most important aim
ఏమైనా సరే ప్రాణాన్నైనా వారికి అర్పితం చేసి వాళ్ళని కాపాడటానికి ప్రయత్నం చేస్తాను
Bhagawan is ready to sacrifice his life also for the benefit of the poor
ఈ లక్ష్యము లోపల వెయ్యింటి ఒక భాగాన్ని మీరన్నా మీరు పెంచుకోండి
At least do one thousandth of what has been done
ఇదియే మానవుడు ఈనాడు చేయవలసినటువంటిది
This is what is supposed to be done by man
మానవుడి పుట్టి ప్రయోజనం ఏమిటి?
Why birth, human life?
కాదు కాదు. మనకిచ్చినటువంటి భగవంతుడిచ్చిన శక్తిని బీదలకు అర్పితం చేయాలి
All our capacity and resources must be sent for, spent for poor people
न त पांसु न तीर्थानां न शास्त्रा न जपा न हि । संसार सागर ओत्तारे सज्जनं सेवनं विना ॥
No pilgrimage, no richness, no afflu-affluence, no association will protect you. It is only service to the poor people that confers immortality
కనుక మీ బీదల సేవ యందే మీ జీవితాన్ని అంకితం కావించాలి
Therefore dedicate your life for service to humanity
అదృష్టవశాత్తు ఎంతనో చదువులు చదివారు
You have educated
గొప్ప గొప్ప doctors అంతా అయినారు
And you are big doctors today
కానీ ఈ doctors యొక్క గుణము ఏమిటి?
But what is your quality?
త్యాగమే, త్యాగమే వారి క్షేమం
And in fact the tyaga, the sacrifice will give you the-
త్యాగం లేనిటువంటి doctor ఉండి ప్రయోజనం లేదు
A doctor without sacrifice is useless.
కనుకనే వాడు త్యాగానికి పునుకోవాలి
He should be ready to sacrifice.
త్యాగమే మన జీవితం యొక్క క్షేమం అని యోచించాలి
And it is the sacrifice that ensures our peace.
కనుక బీదలను చూస్తే ఎంతో ఆప్యాయంగా వాళ్ళని దగ్గరకు చేర్చాలి
Talk to poor people with all kindness and consideration, concern.
అదియే నిజమైనటువంటి యొక్క దయా ప్రేమలు
That is the love of compassion.
కనుకనే ఆ ప్రేమను మీరు పెంచుకొని-
Develop this love
సేవను చేసి Serve ధన్యులు కావాలి
Redeem your lives.
ఎంతమందో జీవితంలో ఈ ధనము లేకుండా ప్రాణాన్ని కోల్పోతున్నారు
In fact there are many people who lose their lives because they are not cared.
ధనముతో కాదు ప్రాణము, ప్రేమతో ప్రాణము
The life would continue sustained because of love, not because of money.
కనుక మీరు ప్రేమను పెంచుకోండి
Develop love
త్యాగాన్ని పెంచుకోండి
Be ready to sacrifice
ఎంత త్యాగాన్ని మీరు పెంచుకుంటే అంత లోకం క్షేమంగా అభివృద్ధి అవుతుంది
The more you sacrifice, the more happy the world would be.
కనుక ఆసుపత్రి కడుతున్నామంటే ఆసుపత్రితో కోట్లకు సంపాదించడం కాదు
The hospitals are built not to earn money, crores of money.
ఈ crores of money తెచ్చుకొని ఏం ప్రయోజనం?
What are you going to do with the crores of money?
కట్టకడపటిని ఒట్టి చేతులతోనే పోవాలి
You have to return at the end empty handed.
ఆ సంపాదించినటువంటి దాన్ని బీదలకే తిరిగి వినియోగం చేయండి
Better you make use of the money that you have earned in a good way.
కనుక ఈ పరోపకారం అనేటువంటి దాంతో మీరు జీవితాన్ని అంకితం చేయాలి
Dedicate your life in service to the humanity.
పరోపకార పుణ్యాయ పాపాయ పరపీడనం
If you serve others it's a merit. If you harm others it's a sin.
కనుక పరోపకార దీక్షను మీరు ప్రారంభించాలి
Commence your day with service.
ఈనాడు ఇక్కడ ఈ ఆసుపత్రి కావటం చేత ఎన్ని విధమైనటువంటి ప్రజలు వచ్చి ఈ చుట్టూ భవనాలు కట్టుకుంటున్నారు
Because of the hospital that has come up today, you find so many buildings coming up around.
ఇంతకు పూర్వం ఈ భూమికి ఏ మాత్రము విలువ లేదు
Earlier this land, this plot has no value.
ఎప్పుడు మా హాస్పత్రి అభివృద్ధి అయిపోయిందో ఇప్పుడు వెలలు, వెలలు చాలా పెరిగిపోయినాయి
The moment hospital has come up here, the prices of the land around has gone up.
ఇంత వెలలు సంపాదించుకుంటున్నారు, బీదలకేం చేస్తున్నారు?
You are earning money, but what is it that you are doing for the poor?
కనుకనే బీదలకే మీ యొక్క దీన్ని త్యాగం చేయాలి
Therefore, sacrifice all that for the poor.
బీద ఒక్క మనిషి ఆనందిస్తే మీకు ఎంతో ఆనందం అవుతుంది
If one poor man is happy you can be happy. Help ever, hurt never Help ever, hurt never
ఎవర్ని పీడించి ధనము సంపాదించకూడదు
Never earn money by just squeezing and extracting from others.
వాళ్ళు ఏడ్చుకుంటూ, ఏడ్చుకుంటూ తెచ్చి ధనము సంపాదించుకుంటేస్తే ఆ ధనమును మీరు పెరుక్కుని వాళ్ళ ప్రాణాలు కూడా కోల్పోతున్నారు
Therefore they bring you money crying all along. Ultimately they lose their life.
ప్రేమ స్వరూపులు కాండి
Embodiments of love
దయా స్వరూపులు కాండి
Be embodiments of compassion
త్యాగ స్వరూపులు కాండి
Be ready for sacrifice
ఈ త్యాగమే నీకు ఎంతనో యోగాన్ని అందిస్తుంది
And it is sacrifice that gives you bliss.
కనుక ఈనాటి నుండి ఈ ఆసుపత్రి ఈ యొక్క ఎక్కడైనా గానీ, ఏ ప్రజలైనా గానీ, ఏ దేశము భేదము లేదు మాకు
Right from this day this hospital is open for everybody-
ఎవరైనా వచ్చి ఇక్కడ ప్రయోజనం పొందవచ్చు
No differences.
అందరికీ treatment, free treatment ఇస్తాం
Free treatment is going to be given to everybody.
ఏ విధమైన అప్పులైనా చేసి దీనికి treatment ఇస్తాం మేము
We'll take loan and see that you are attended to.
కనుక ధనం కోసం మేము ఏ మాత్రము కదలము
This is not for financial gains
ప్రాణాన్ని అందించడమే మా యొక్క ప్రధాన లక్ష్యము
And in fact to keep you alive and safe, that is our aim.
కనుక మీరందరూ కూడా ఈ కొత్త పాఠాన్ని నేర్చుకోండి
Better you learn this new good lesson Doctors
అంతా ముఖ్యంగా నేర్చుకోవాల్సినటువంటిది
Doctors should learn the beginning
Doctorsకు ధనాశను completely త్యాగం చేయండి
Doctors should sacrifice this feeling to amass money
ప్రేమాశను పెంచుకోండి
And develop more kindness
దయాభావం పెంచుకోండి
And sacrifice
ధనం దాని పాటికి అదే వస్తుంది
And money will follow automatically
మందులతో నయమయ్యేటువంటిది కానే కాదు ఈ రోగాలు
In fact the diseases cannot be cured by medicine
దైవానుగ్రహం చేతనే అది నయం అవుతుంది
It is only God's grace that cures
కనుకనే దైవానుగ్రహాన్ని మీరు సంపాదించండి
And earn God's grace more and more
దాన్ని సంపాదించి దాని చేతనే ఆ సర్వులకును నివారణ కావించండి
And with this God's grace you cure everybody that comes to you
ప్రేమ స్వరూపులారా
Embodiments of love
మందుతో పాటు దైవానుగ్రహం కూడా చేర్చాలి
Not merely the medicine, God's grace is also necessary
దైవానుగ్రహంతో పాటు త్యాగం కూడాను పెంచాలి
Along with that sacrifice is essential
ఎంత ఉండి ప్రయోజనం ఏమిటి?
What, what is it that you have done?
నీవు కడుపునిండుకు తింటున్నావు
You eat a lot
కానీ మిగతా వారి గతి ఏమిటి?
What will happen to those starving?
అది కూడా మనం వెతకాలి
And you should search
అది కూడా మనం చూడాలి
And you should ca — have concern for them
పరోపకార సంబంధమైనటువంటి కార్యాల్లో మనం ప్రవేశించాలి
And you should be ready to serve everybody
కనుక ఈ ఆసుపత్రి కేవలం అందంగా కట్టామని కాదు దీనికి
The hospital does not merely stand for architecture and beauty
అందంతో పాటు ఆనందం కూడా పెంచాలి
Along with
అందము beauty it has ఆనందము bliss ఆ ఆనందం ఎక్కడి నుంచి వస్తుంది? బీదలు సంతోషపడినప్పుడే మనకు ఆనందం
You'll be really blissful when you serve the poor people
బీదలు ఎన్నో కష్టాలుపడి ఎన్నో బాధలకు లోంగి చాలా కష్టపడుతున్నారు
You know poor people suffer a lot, they struggle
ఒక్క medicine కూడా కొనుక్కోవడానికి శక్తి లేదు
And they don't have any square meal a day
కనుకనే అన్ని medicines కూడాను మేము free గా ఇచ్చేస్తాం
They can't purchase medicines, so medicines are going to be given free here medicines
కూడాను free గా ఇచ్చేస్తాం. కనుకనే మీరందరూ కూడాను ఈ ఆసుపత్రి విషయంలో తప్పు భావాలు పెట్టుకోకోకుండా
Don't have any kind of other ideas, ill feelings
త్యాగభావాన్ని మీరు పెంచుకొని
Have the feeling of sacrifice
ప్రజలకు ఎంత ఆనందాన్ని అందించడానికి తగిన కృషి చేయండి
And see that you share the joy with everybody
ఈనాడు అధిక కాలం కావటం చేత దీని వివరాలంతా మీకు చెప్పడానికి అంత వ్యవధి లేదు
Because the program is delayed, Bhagawan has not sufficient time to explain in detail various aspects
కనుక... ప్రవేశపెట్టి బీదలకు సహాయం చేయండి
Having been here so long Learn the lesson of sacrifice having earned money serve the poor community
అది నేను కోరేది
That is the desire of Bhagawan
నేను ఎవరిని ఏది కోరను
Bhagawan doesn't ask anything from anybody
మీరు బీదలకు సహాయం చేయండి
You help poor people
అన్ని రకములైనటువంటి యొక్క సహాయం చేయండి
You help in every possible way
భోజనం కావాలి
They need food Food is God Food is God God
కాబట్టి దానికి food ని అందించండి
Therefore supply food to everybody Money makes many wrongs Money makes many wrongs
కనుక దీన్ని చెడు మార్గంలో మనం ప్రవేశ పెట్టకూడదు
Don't sa — don't waste money like that Misuse of money is evil.
ఎంత డబ్బులు సంపాదించినా
Misuse of money is evil
శ్రీమంతులంతా కూడాను ధనమును ఎంత ఎన్ని విధములైనటువంటి waste చేస్తున్నారు
Rich people are wasting money
త్రాగటము, తినటము, ఇష్టమొచ్చినట్టు ప్రవర్తించడము, ఇదంతా నిజమైనటువంటి ధనము ధనం చేసేటువంటి పరిస్థితి
They waste their money for vices like playing cards
కాదు కాదు సద్వినియోగం చేయాలి
Make proper use of money
మానవునికి ఎంతో నాలుగు రకములైనటువంటి యొక్క విషయాన్ని విషయాలు ఉండా ఉన్నాయి
There are four important aspects Don't waste food Don't waste food Don't waste money Don't waste money Don't waste energy Don't waste energy Don't waste time Don't waste time Time waste is life waste Time waste is life waste
సరే మీరంతా అనవసరమైన మాటలు చెప్తా ఈ time ని అంతా పాడు చేస్తున్నారు
In fact you are wasting time in vain gossip
ఈ కాలమును waste చేసే బదులు పరోపకార సంబంధమైన కార్యంలో పాల్గొనండి
Instead of wasting your time better you make proper use of time by serving others
నేను కోరేది అదే అందరికీ సహాయం చేయండి ఎలాంటి వాడు వచ్చినా ఏదో మన శక్తి కొద్దీ వాళ్ళకి సహాయం చేయండి
Be ready to serve others to the extent possible
అది నేను కోరేటువంటి
That's what Bhagawan wants you to do
ఇంకా కొన్ని దినములకు వచ్చి మీరు ఇక్కడ చూచి ఇక్కడ జరిగేటువంటి యొక్క త్యాగము, భోగము, ఈ ఆనందము ఎవరికి చిక్కనటువంటి యొక్క దీన్ని మీరు అందుకుంటారు
You are going to enjoy you are going to understand the spirit of sacrifice and the level of bliss here in this campus
బీదరంతా కడకడ నవ్వుతూ కిలకిల నవ్వుతుంటారు
You find the poor people in all smiles just enjoying
బీదరి నవ్వును మనం చూడాలి
In fact we should see their smile
బీదరి ఆరోగ్యాన్ని మనం చూడాలి
We should take care of their health
బీదరి ఆనందాన్ని మనం చూడాలి
And we should wish for their happiness
అదియే మన జీవితానికి సరి అయినటువంటి మార్గము
That is the proper aim of our life
పరోపకార పుణ్యాయ పాపాయ పరపీడనం
It's only the meritorious one who do good deeds compared to sinful fellow commits sins
కనుక ఈ బీదల ఆనందాన్ని మీరు చూసేటువంటి ప్రాప్తికి మీరు నోచుకోండి
In fact cultivate that spirit as to find happiness in others
ఇదియే నా యొక్క ఆశీర్వాద ఫలం
That's how Bhagawan blesses everyone and brings his divine discourse to a close
