There is no number to call first and no appointment to make. In an emergency, come to the hospital. For a heart or brain emergency which is not due to trauma, every patient who reaches our Emergency Department is attended to. For road accidents and major injuries, see below.

The Patient Help Desk on +91 80 4710 4600 is for booking OPD appointments and general guidance, and runs 10 AM to 4 PM on weekdays. It is not an emergency line — do not wait for it to open, and do not delay coming.
Road Accidents and Major Injuries
Please take road-accident and trauma patients to a trauma centre.
SSSIHMS Whitefield is a specialist hospital for heart and brain conditions: Cardiology, Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery, and Neurosurgery. We do not have round-the-clock cover for general specialities such as general surgery, orthopaedics etc.
Injuries from road accidents usually involve several parts of the body at once and need many specialist teams working together straight away. The hospital is not equipped to treat such multi-system emergencies. For this reason we do not admit road-accident or major trauma cases.
For a road accident, call 108 for an ambulance (or 112 for any emergency) and go directly to the nearest hospital with a trauma centre.
If an injured person is brought here, our Emergency team will give immediate first aid to stabilise them and help arrange their transfer to a hospital that can provide full trauma care.
What to Expect
Critical care, ICU and emergency services are available at all hours. The hospital works to a first-come first-served policy, with priority given to emergency medical conditions.
Previous medical records and proof of address if you have them. In a genuine emergency, do not delay because a document is missing.
Emergency care, like all care here, is free. The hospital has no billing counter.
Do not pay any person claiming to be a member of staff. Report them to Hospital Security immediately.
If someone can come with the patient, they should. For admitted patients one attendant must remain on campus.
