Hospital Overview:

Started by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in the year 1976, Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital, Whitefield is 2nd hospital started by Bhagawan, to provide best of the best, high quality medical and surgical care to the poorest of the poor patient, free of cost, without any discrimination based on caste, creed or nationality. What started as a single room clinic to cater to needs of mother and child needs has grown into a full-fledged multispecialty hospital providing some of the advanced treatment modalities like laparoscopic surgeries and joint replacements. On 6th July 2016, Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital moved into campus of Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Medical Sciences, as ordained by Bhagawan in the year 2002 saying that in future General Hospital will be in the same campus providing comprehensive treatment to all patients without need to go from one place to another.

Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Prasanthi Nilayam is perhaps the only charitable trust in INDIA to offer complete medical care including consultation, diagnosis, comprehensive treatment and follow – up and diet at the primary, secondary and tertiary levels to all patients free of all charges irrespective of his caste, creed, religion or economic status.

The founder, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba has established the Trust with the motto of Service to man is service to GOD and with the mission of providing free and quality health care to all patients.
