Education should enable one to cultivate good qualities, character and devotion. The teaching of the curricula is only the means employed for the end, namely, spiritual uplift, self-discovery and social service through love and detachment.
Education for Body, Mind and Spirit
Value-based, integrated education is the bedrock of the B.Sc Nursing programme. The programme runs for 4 years, including a mandatory internship period, under the aegis of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. It is fully residential, so that students imbibe the values of community living and gain the skills needed for the integrated growth of body, mind and spirit.
Alongside the academic curriculum and clinical training, college life is built around sports and service, yoga and meditation, prayer and devotional activities, Education in Human Values, and a full calendar of co-curricular and cultural events. Students of the College have consistently excelled academically, winning gold medals and state ranks.
