In its continuing journey towards a sustainable future, SSSIHMS-Whitefield has been recognized as a Changemaker for its commitment demonstrated towards sustainable Solid Waste Management practices under Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) 2.0 by Centre for Science and Environment (CSE), New Delhi.
 
The Changemakers’ Conclave was held on 19-Dec-2024 in New Delhi and was presided over by Ms. Roopa Mishra, Jt. Secretary & Program Director, Swachh Bharat Mission, and Director-General of CSE, Ms. Sunita Narain.
 
The Institute had deputed Sri Satish Chandra to its Anil Agrawal Environment Training Institute (AAETI) for training in sustainable Solid Waste Management practices in October, 2023.
