Anaesthesia for the Cardiac Mission
A dedicated cardiac anaesthesia team serves the Institute’s cardiac operation theatres, the two cardiac catheterisation labs, the cardiac intensive care units and the CCU — covering approximately 1,500 cardiac cases a year, about a third of them paediatric.
The team provides peri-operative transoesophageal echocardiography (TEE), supports congenital and adult cardiac surgery alike, and anchors the 18-month Fellowship in Cardio-Thoracic & Vascular Anaesthesia.

Fellowship in Cardiac Anaesthesia
